Registration is now open<\/a> for the massive open online course (MOOC) being developed by Engineers Canada website<\/a> and Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al<\/a> based on the National Guideline on Sustainable Development and Environmental Stewardship for Engineers<\/a>, which is the Canadian adoption of the WFEO Code of Practice for Sustainable Development and Environmental Stewardship<\/a> (the Interpretive Guide<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This new, free online course, called \u201cSustainability in Practice\u201d<\/b>, is a great professional development opportunity for engineers to learn how to apply the sustainable development and environmental stewardship guidelines in their daily practice. A teaser video<\/a> is online.<\/p>\n

Registration closes on Monday 19 November<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Ce nouveau cours en ligne gratuit, intitul\u00e9 “L\u2019ing\u00e9nierie durable”<\/b>, constitue pour les ing\u00e9nieurs une excellente occasion de d\u00e9veloppement professionnel, car il leur permettra d\u2019apprendre comment appliquer les principes de d\u00e9veloppement durable et de g\u00e9rance environnementale dans leur pratique quotidienne.
