\nRegistration closes April 15th<\/b> for second offering of massive open online course (MOOC) Sustainability in Practice<\/b>, which is available for free and for completion by May 17th<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The Massive Open On-Line Course \u2013 Sustainability in practice is available in english<\/a> and in french<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This course is a joint project between Engineers Canada (EC)<\/a> and Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al<\/a>. It will show real case studies illustrating practical applications of the 10 guidelines contained in EC\u2019s National guideline on sustainable development and environmental stewardship for professional engineers<\/a> (2016), which is the Canadian adoption of the WFEO Code of Practice for Sustainable Development and Environmental Stewardship<\/a> (the Interpretive Guide is available here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This course will also suggest tools for engineers to apply these guidelines in their professional practice.<\/p>\n

The first edition of Sustainability in Practice wrapped up in December with great success<\/a>: 1,554 participants from 58 countries registered for the free course, delivered over four modules in both English<\/a> and French<\/a>. <\/p>\n
