Celebrations of World Engineering Day continue to grow each year with hundreds of events held around the world.

\nThe social media reach exceeds 50 million, a similar number was reached in 2022. This is an extraordinary achievement for World Engineering Day and for WFEO.<\/p>\n

The theme of World Engineering Day 2023 was Engineering Innovation for a more Resilient World<\/i>. <\/p>\n

Events were held around the world and broadcast on the 24 hours World Engineering Day LIVE event which has more than 20,000 viewers, making it one of the largest engineering event held in the world in 2023.

\nTwo major events were hosted by WFEO members: The Institution of Engineers, Singapore<\/a> and the Institution of Engineers Spain (IIE)<\/a> held celebrations on 4th March 2023. IIE also hosted the WFEO Executive Council meeting in Madrid.

\nThe event was streamed live on the World Engineering Day LIVE event<\/a> on 4th March 2023. In addition, WFEO partner and members provided messages on the importance of engineering for sustainable development for the 24 hours\u2019 LIVE event.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of events were held around the world from conferences and webinars to fun runs and social events. This demonstrates the World engineering Day is increasingly being celebrated by the community and is raising the profile of engineering around the world.
