The WFEO National Member Organization UAE Society of Engineers<\/a>, in collaboration with the Gulf Engineering Union<\/a>, organized the 25th Gulf Engineering Forum<\/a> on 7 and 8 February 2024, under the theme “Smart Engineering for a Sustainable Future”, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n

The theme underscored the importance of harnessing the best solutions and innovative technologies for modern design and implementation of projects, with a strong emphasis on environmentally friendly engineering to ensure sustainability. <\/p>\n

The Forum’s target axes included:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Smart infrastructure and building systems.<\/li>\n
  2. Autonomous systems and robots.<\/li>\n
  3. Bioengineering and Biomedical Technologies.<\/li>\n
  4. Cybersecurity in engineering systems.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    the forum welcomed prestigious gathering of leading engineers, professionals, and innovators from across the Gulf region and beyond. It offers a unique platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and experiences that can help shape the future of engineering.<\/p>\n

    WFEO President Mustafa Shehu<\/a> delivered a keynote address on “Engineering for a Sustainable Future” and President-Elect Seng Chuan Tan<\/a> made a presentation on “Sustainable Infrastructure” on 7th February 2024.
