The meetings were attended by the leaderships of the founding organizations comprising of: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the <a href=\"http:\/\/International Society of City and Regional Planners\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP)<\/a>,<\/li>\n<li>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO)<\/a>,<\/li>\n<li>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uia-architectes.org\/en\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">International Union of Architects (UIA)<\/a>, <\/li>\n<li>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iflaworld.com\/who-we-are\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA)<\/a>, <\/li>\n<li>the <a href=\"https:\/\/aiph.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH)<\/a>, <\/li>\n<li>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isuh.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">International Society for Urban Health (ISUH)<\/a>, <\/li>\n<li>the <a href=\"https:\/\/ssgmuae.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Society of Sustainability and Green Materials (SSGM)<\/a>, and <\/li>\n<li>the <a href=\"https:\/\/worldgreeninfrastructurenetwork.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN)<\/a>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1161\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-40204\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_2.png 2048w, https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_2-300x170.png 300w, https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_2-1024x581.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_2-768x435.png 768w, https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_2-1536x871.png 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><br \/>\nWFEO was represented by my humble self and Dr. Nahla Ahmad Al-Qassimi, member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/executive-council\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WFEO Executive Council<\/a> and Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering at Ajman University, UAE. <\/p>\n<p>The meeting discussed Roadmap and organizational structure of the CCN as well as on ways to achieve the objectives of the Network some of which are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduction of toxic emissions, <\/li>\n<li>Decarbonize the cities and territories, <\/li>\n<li>Promote actions towards circular economy, <\/li>\n<li>Enhance energy efficiency in the built environment, <\/li>\n<li>Promote effective use and reuse of water, <\/li>\n<li>Define smarter policies for waste management, etc. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1035\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-40203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_1.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_1-300x152.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_1-1024x518.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_1-768x388.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.wfeo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Circular-cities-2024_1-1536x776.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><br \/>\nFurthermore, the meeting discussed the progress so far, in planning for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.circular-cities-network.org\/ccs-2-0\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Circular Cities Summit CCS2.0<\/a> coming up in Dubai on 11 and 12 September 2024 where H.E. Eng.
