Following his participation in the World Robot Conference 2024<\/a> held in Beijing, China, from 21 to 22 August 2024, Seng Chuan Tan<\/a>, WFEO President-Elect and Emeritus President of The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES)<\/a>, visited the Singapore Embassy<\/a> and the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST)<\/a> Headquarters in Beijing on 23 August 2024.

\nWFEO President-Elect Seng Chuan Tan and Dr. Luo Hui, CAST Executive Secretary and Director General of the Department of International Affairs<\/i>

\nDuring this visit, he had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Peter Tan, Singapore\u2019s Ambassador to Beijing, alongside his foreign affairs team, and the CAST delegation led by Dr. Luo Hui, Executive Secretary and Director General of the Department of International Affairs, and Mr. Sun Xiaojun, Director General of the China Centre for International Science and Technology Exchange.<\/p>\n

The meeting with CAST officials, which included WFEO representatives and members of the Executive Council<\/a> Mr. Ling Wen, Chair of the WFEO Engineering and Environment Committee<\/a>, and Ms. He Jing, National Member Representative, was marked by insightful discussions on potential collaborations. <\/p>\n
